What is Cord Blood Awareness Month?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Cord Blood Awareness Month takes place each year in July and aims to raise awareness about the importance of saving umbilical cord blood amongst expectant parents.<\/p>\n

The overall goal of Cord Blood Awareness Month<\/a> is to make parents aware that there is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to save the powerful stem cells that umbilical cord blood contains \u2013 and that\u2019s straight after the birth of their baby.<\/p>\n

Today, there are over 80 different conditions<\/a> and diseases that can be treated with umbilical cord blood, with thousands of clinical trials currently underway also using cord blood in treatments for cerebral palsy, Type 1 diabetes, and more.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Main Text” _builder_version=”4.2.2″]\n
