The cost of cord blood banking will vary depending on the service you want. Most of our customers choose the Platinum service, giving them up to 3x more cells* than other cord blood processing systems available in the UK.

Depending on the hospital you are using, your collection could be performed by your consultant or you may require a specially trained phlebotomist (a person licensed to collect blood). There is an additional cost for a phlebotomy service of ยฃ300.

With Cells4Life,ย you can split your childโs cord blood and cord tissue into multiple portions across our two separate storage locations. In the unlikely event of a disaster at one of our facilities, the remainder of the samples will be safely stored at the other.

Can I keep my placenta after birth?

How much does it cost to bank cord blood as a group?
Many of our clients either have friends who are also pregnant or attend antenatal classes and the subject of stem cell storage is discussed. If three or more couples/parents wish to store their babyโs umbilical cord blood with us we will offer all three a group discount of ยฃ150 each.
