As the UK’s largest private cord blood bank, we provide cord blood collection and storage services throughout the country, and can provide coverage at all maternity hospitals in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Because most maternity staff are used to seeing our phlebotomists and Collection Kits in their hospitals, we are trusted to provide a seamless cord blood collection service that enables your attending midwives and consultants to look after you and baby on the big day.

Who assigns your phlebotomist?
A small number of maternity units have staff who are licensed to carry out cord blood collection themselves. However, for most hospitals you will require one of our highly qualified cord blood phlebotomists who are specifically trained to perform the cord blood collection.
Should you require our phlebotomy service, on booking, you will be allocated a specific phlebotomist, who will become your primary point of contact to manage your cord blood collection. They will be on call 24 hours a day until the collection has been made. You will also be allocated a back-up, who you can call should your primary phlebotomist be unavailable for any reason.
What hospitals allow cord blood collection?
The list below contains all of the maternity hospitals that we frequently collect umbilical cord blood from. If you don’t see your hospital listed, please call us on 01444 873950 and we will contact them on your behalf.
We are also able to collect donations at hospitals within a 100-mile radius of our laboratory in the South East of England.
We offer a range of cord blood pricing packages to suit any budget – starting at just £1,950. Visit our Cord Blood Pricing page for details.
