Three year old Drake was left with Cerebral Palsy after suffering a stroke due to lack of oxygen to the brain at birth. His mother said “He couldn’t walk, he couldn’t talk and he just sat there.”
Luckily for Drake his parents had his cord blood stored after birth and he was able to take part in an FDA trial which used his cord blood to treat his condition. He received cord blood stem cell injections which his parent’s credit for his improvement. He is now able to form sentences, run, jump and play like other children his age! They say his therapists are excited to see the continued improvements he is making.
