Three-year-old Jordan Payne doesnโ€™t know it yet, but one day he could well be the key to saving his brotherโ€™s life.

Jordan’s older brother Tayler has cystic fibrosis (CF), a genetic condition that thickens the bodyโ€™s mucus and blocks tiny tubes in various organs. ย To keep Tayler’s airways clear, prevent lung damage and reduce infection, he requires regular physiotherapy.

When Jordan was born his parents decided to save his umbilical cord blood stem cells in the hope that advances in medicine will one day make use of Jordanโ€™s banked stem cells and make a difference to the life of their eldest son.
